Acacia House overlooks the infamous Rekero waterhole and from the comfort of ones verandah, guests can enjoy a vast array of wildlife and birdlife at very close quarters. Our Safari chefs produce uncomplicated but wonderfully imaginative meals which utilize skillful blends of flavours and the huge variety of exciting produce found in Kenya. Special dietary requirements are catered for with advanced warning.

Acacia House - Accommodation
Two spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is a third attic room, ideal for children; this bedroom shares the second bathroom.

Activities
Wildlife viewing and bird watching can be done in custom-built four-wheel drive vehicles which allow intimate yet unobtrusive access to the animals. Visits to one of the local villages, schools and trading centres can be arranged. Picnics in the bush and sun downers also feature. Guests interested in Community Conservation are very welcome to participate in our projects, included daily computer training for local Communities at the Rekero Trust classroom.

Luggage
There is a 15 kilogram luggage limit on the internal flights within Kenya. More formal clothing is very rarely needed and a fast laundry service is offered at Rekero. Ladies underwear is not washed in camp but washing powder is provided in the tents for hand washing. A reasonable amount of additional camera equipment is acceptable and we do insist on a soft holdall (approximately 80cm long by 35cm wide) rather than hard framed suitcases, for ease of carriage by both vehicle and light aircraft.
