This week the newsletter is dedicated to a friend of Rekeros, Rob Stowers, who has helped on the management team for the past 3 years, both at Rekero Camp and Rekero Kidogo.

Rob has finally returned back to the UK to continue his career as a Police Officer. Many of you will remember him for different reasons, for me the most hilarious episodes were often entertaining guests in the early hours of the morning around the dinner table, watching Rob trying to manage a crazy game of "Scategories" or Jenga!!!

Rob was absolutely fantastic to have around camp and will be missed. His love of Kenya and the Maasai Mara has grown and we are all sure that he will be back soon!!!

Good luck Kiboko!!

All the best from all of us here at Rekero Camp!!!

Martin & the team

Mike and Liza Harley, who are old hands in Africa but new to Rekero were with us last week. After a great safari they had seen Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs (they watched the cheetah stalking and kill a Thomson ’s gazelle). It was their last morning game drive and they set off in search of a leopard, and found more than anyone could have imagined.

The end of the season is in sight and we are on track to have had our best ever, many thanks to all of you that have made this possible.  Off-season plans are underway; at Rekero Homes we are building a swimming pool and May will see further training for the cooks and the guides.

Hey everyone! We often try to give you a sense of the “Big Wow” factor in these newsletters ; the Big Cat behaviour ; the Big 5 etc… This week we were able to observe an amazing spectacle from the lunch table. I luckily photographed this event and have placed it in the title image.
